Block printing is a traditional Indian art form of using wooden blocks to print on paper and various types of fabric.

Block printing is one the most interesting and creative art forms for all age groups. This hands-on workshop is an introduction for kids of 7 years and older, where they can use a wide range of blocks from traditional, geometric, abstract and popular culture patterns. They will be printing on tote bags that they can take back with them. 

Duration - 2 hours

Pooja Gokul will be talking briefly about the details of this technique. She also has starter kits for kids which will be available at the workshop.

The colours are permanent on cloth and we provide a range of colours that you can choose from at the workshop.
All materials including tote bags will be provided.
Kindly bring an apron or an old t-shirt to wear.
